In The Heights

Community Mural

In collaboration with The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Latino Arts, Cosecha Creative Space and Ck Ledesma created a sketch that reflected Puertorican and Dominican cultures in tandem with the city of Milwaukee. This sketch was turned into a small traveling mural in the style of paint by number. This piece traveled around Milwaukee to diverse community events where participants engaged in painting the piece. Later, during the run of the musical "In The Heights" community members were invited to a dinner unveiling of the mural and to see the musical.
